Fundación Paraguaya Mobile Platform

Hewlett Packard, 4½ Minutes

Hewlett Packard created a fascinating mobile application which is being used by an organization in Paraguay to assess the level of poverty in various corners of the country. The data is analyzed with the help of the system and the results help the Paraguayan government target its response to those most in need.

The overarching story was fascinating enough to make the first cut of the video 20 minutes long. But the client’s needs to focus the message to the uses of its product behooved us to cut it all down to 4½ minutes; here is a 3½ minute excerpt.

One thing Daniel Gamburg and Andy Linda learned on this 2-day shoot was that a 2-person crew with minimal equipment, simple enough to make them look like tourists, was enough to get a fully professional job done.
