Video Editing Services
Whether you call it video post production services or video editing services, it’s the step which molds raw footage into a video program. We begin by ingesting raw footage into an editing computer and then gathering all other relevant material such as logos, existing graphics, photographs, etc. into the same machine. Editing begins in earnest with the first video cut. The first edit version is usually pretty complete with most graphics, library music, and scratch voiceover in place. We often begin with scratch voiceover of the editor’s voice for the first pass to make sure everything flows to your satisfaction before committing to a professionally voiced track. The first cut is posted for your review and feedback and then we go back to create Version Two. Three versions usually dial a program to everyone’s satisfaction.
The Edit Suite
Video post production always takes place in our well-appointed edit suite, featuring a custom-built workstation running the latest version of the Adobe Creative Cloud software suite. It’s a solid setup with a 42” 4k computer monitor and a 42” HD program monitor. We can mix 5.1-channel surround sound. We color grade. We make 2D graphics and animation. 3D animations are the only video post production services that we have a colleague pitch in on; the rest we do in-house.
The edit suite itself is comfortable, roomy and quiet and the client is always welcome to join us for any of our video editing services.
The Video Editor
Of course successful video post production depends on the experience of the editor. At eImage the editor is Andy Linda. Chances are he directed the shoot and wrote the script, so by the time editing comes up, he is intimately familiar with every nuance of the project. With more than three decades of editing behind his belt, he knows a trick or two to make everything run efficiently while giving it a creative flair.
The Client
All clients are welcome to participate as much or as little as they’d like in our video post production services. It’s a fun, creative process, but can be tedious at times. Whether you participate or not, we keep you involved with frequent work-in-progress previews. We value your input, and you always have the final say. After all, it’s your project.

Deliverables
Video editing services produce a complete, ready-to-use video program. This program can take the form of a file ready to post to YouTube or Facebook, or we can frame your project to fit into Instagram’s vertical format and edit it into their short program-length limits. In fact, we can accommodate any social media or video platform, from authoring old-fashioned DVDs, through Blu-ray discs, to broadcast or theatrical distribution. We’ve even produced programs for video walls and other special applications.
