Upper Yard Groundbreaking Live Webcast

We’ve been doing a lot of live webcasts during the COVID-19 pandemic. This one was streamed with a hotspot over the cell network since neither a hard-wired Ethernet nor a WiFi signal was available at the BART railway station location. We used two cameras, one cameraperson, an audio person and a streaming tech. The Mission Housing client provided pre-edited video roll-ins and with an assistant directed the show.
The odd thing was that normally this would be a live event with as many people invited as possible. This time, because of social distancing mandates, gathering was actively discouraged and the event was put on strictly for camera and the online audience.
