Video Production Woodside

We’ve been working in Woodside as a Bay Area video production business since 1984, helping major corporations like Hewlett Packard, Bechtel and Oracle get their message out. eImage produced video programs for State, County and City governments. We’ve worked with small businesses and start-ups. We’ve had a chance to work with subjects that span the human experience: high-tech, financial, medical, legal, educational, agricultural, spiritual, historical, political, and artistic. All to our customers’ complete satisfaction.

After decades in the business, eImage Video Productions has done a lot of everything, much of it right here in Woodside: we’ve interviewed leaders of major corporations, shot videos of prominent politicians, explained the workings of sewage and water treatment plants, detailed the principles of new inventions. We’ve shown how to disassemble and assemble computer components, how to conduct employee reviews, how to test dairy cows for tuberculosis. Our videos have pumped up audiences for the start of a meeting and explained to immigrant populations that local mental health services are available. We’ve made videos for students who apply for financial aid as well as for school custodians trying to get rid of rats and cockroaches. One program explained the methodology of Buddhist prayer, another what awaits you in family court. It’s been a fascinating mix, reflecting Woodside’s diversity.

Pre-Production, Production and Post-Production are the three basic phases of all our video production services. eImage handles them all for some of our Woodside clients, while others take our services à la carte. For example, you or your content expert can write a script, we can collaborate on one, or we can write it for you. Many programs don’t need a script at all and that’s OK too. Need a video edited that somebody else shot? We can do that. Or do you want us to shoot something in Woodside and send the raw footage to the editor? No problem!

In short, we offer the services of an expert videographer, a seasoned video editor, a talented video director, or an accomplished film producer in Woodside and the San Francisco Bay Area. Find out more about the people behind eImage Video Productions on our About page.

Woodside is a small incorporated town in San Mateo County, California, United States, on the San Francisco Peninsula. Woodside is among the wealthiest communities in the United States, home to many technology billionaires and investment managers, with average home prices exceeding 5 million dollars. It has a council–manager system of government. The population of the town was 5,309 at the 2020 census.[4]

The intentionally small business district includes: a few restaurants; a grocery store; a saloon; a hardware and horse tack store; a home and garden store; an Aveda hair salon; a cleaner; and a post office. Outside of the business district are the Stillheart Institute educational event center, Skywood Trading Post and the Mountain Terrace event center.

The house in the Robin Williams movie Bicentennial Man is in Woodside. Dynasty was filmed at the Filoli Estate (not the interior of the mansion, but the exterior), as were the films The Wedding Planner, The Game, Lolita, George of the Jungle, Heaven Can Wait, and Harold and Maude. The musical Rent also has a scene filmed inside the Filoli Estate.
