We Produce Video Programs of All Types
After decades in the business, eImage Video Productions has done a lot of everything, much of it right here in San Bruno: we’ve interviewed leaders of major corporations, shot videos of prominent politicians, explained the workings of sewage and water treatment plants, detailed the principles of new inventions. We’ve shown how to disassemble and assemble computer components, how to conduct employee reviews, how to test dairy cows for tuberculosis. Our videos have pumped up audiences for the start of a meeting and explained to immigrant populations that local mental health services are available. We’ve made videos for students who apply for financial aid as well as for school custodians trying to get rid of rats and cockroaches. One program explained the methodology of Buddhist prayer, another what awaits you in family court. It’s been a fascinating mix, reflecting San Bruno’s diversity.

Need a video edited that somebody else shot? We can do that. Or do you want us to shoot something in San Bruno and send the raw footage to the editor? No problem!

A Bit About San Bruno
San Bruno is a city in San Mateo County, California, United States, incorporated in 1914. The population was 43,908 at the 2020 United States Census. The city is between South San Francisco and Millbrae, adjacent to San Francisco International Airport and Golden Gate National Cemetery, and is approximately 12 miles (19 km) south of downtown San Francisco.
The city began as Clarks’s Station,[26] a stop on the Butterfield Overland Mail stagecoach route, utilizing an inn built in 1849, which was initially called Thorp’s Place and later Uncle Tom’s Cabin or 14 Mile House.[27] The inn was demolished in 1949 and replaced with a Lucky’s supermarket (now a Walgreens drugstore, on the corner of El Camino Real and Crystal Springs Avenue). Gus Jenevein (for whom Jenevein Avenue was named) built another landmark called San Bruno House, which burned several times and was not rebuilt after the third fire. A few homes and farms were developed in the area. The railroad between San Francisco and San Jose built a train station at San Bruno in the 1860s. The railroad eventually became part of the Southern Pacific system, which ran both passenger and freight trains on the line. Today it is known as Caltrain.
San Bruno was known as a rural town until the 1940s when two events changed dramatically. First, the Tanforan horse racing track was used during WWII for the internment of American Citizens of Japanese descent before sending them off to detention camps. The Army oversaw this operation and decided to use the area west of the racetrack for the Army’s Western Region Advance Personnel Depot. Thousands of military personnel went through San Bruno on their way to and from military outposts in the Pacific. This changed San Bruno forever. Many of the military personnel decided to settle in the area upon their return to the United States.
The second event of the ’40s that changed San Bruno was George Williams’ purchase of much of the Mills land. Williams built houses on this land for the vast number of support personnel and veterans returning from the war. Soon after the Mills Park Addition was developed by Williams, the land in the western hills of San Bruno was also developed into housing. The housing boom that took place between the 1940s and 1960s transformed San Bruno from a town of about 6500 in 1940 to a population of over 35,000 by the mid-1960s. Since then the population has stabilized due to a lack of available land. Currently, there are about 41,000 residents in San Bruno.Mills Park Addition
Today San Bruno is known as an airport city. Mills Field was dedicated in 1927 near the site now occupied by San Francisco International Airport, but it took many years for the airport to become the success it is today. The many other more established airports in the area, along with the short and often swampy runways made Mills Field unpopular with aviators and businesses alike until 1945 when voters approved a million bond into the improvement and expansion of the airport. Since then the airport has become one of the busiest in the world, and San Bruno has grown into an international city right along with it.
