Valentino Mobile Platform

Hewlett Packard, 3½ Minutes

Hewlett Packard is not just a hardware company, they also develop software. The solution they developed for the Italian haute couture powerhouse Valentino revolves around a mobile application whereby one can search for recommended combinations of clothes and accessories. And of course a purchasing platform is built-in.

Andy Linda traveled to Valentino’s main factory in Valdagno, Italy, to direct a local crew in interviewing a Valentino executive. We shot the B-roll in Milan.

The ironic thing is that even with HP’s clout, we were not allowed inside Valentino’s flagship store in Milan. So we made due with what could be seen in the store’s window display, combined with a handful of shots from a Valentino store in the Venice airport which Andy shot as he was flying back home.
